PRIVACY & DATA GOVERNANCE
Your privacy.
Built by design.
LIVLU Studio is committed to data minimization, transparent digital hygiene, and absolute respect for your personal information. Here is our full notice on how we treat your data under UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and international privacy standards.
Language preference
Your EN/PT selection is saved on this device in local storage under livlu-language. It is used only to remember your language. You can change it using the header controls or clear it in your browser settings.
Data controller & scope
This privacy notice explains how LIVLU TECHNOLOGIES LTD (trading as LIVLU Studio, “we”, “us”, or “the studio”) collects, processes, and safeguards personal data when you visit livlustudio.com, interact with our online showcases, or communicate with our team.
This notice applies exclusively to this website and direct correspondence with our studio. Standalone commercial software products (such as ForroVivo, Conta, or Near Glasses) have dedicated in-app privacy policies tailored to their operating architecture and local device permissions.
Privacy by design & data minimization
We believe great engineering does not require invasive tracking. Our architectural philosophy is built on three immutable principles:
- Data minimization: We collect only what is strictly essential to respond to client enquiries and securely serve web assets.
- No behavioral surveillance: We do not deploy cross-site tracking cookies, ad retargeting pixels, biometric collectors, or screen recording session heatmaps.
- No monetization of personal data: We do not sell, rent, lease, or barter your personal information to third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks under any circumstances.
Interactive enquiry tool
Our website features a bespoke enquiry builder on the contact page. To protect your privacy, this tool operates entirely in your local browser:
When you select project categories, input your name, email, timeline, or project brief, the text is assembled purely client-side via JavaScript. The form does not send your submission to a remote database, serverless store, or third-party CRM webhook.
When you click “Send via email”, the interface invokes your device's native mail client using an encoded mailto: link. If you choose Instagram, it opens our verified handle. Once transmitted via email, your message is processed under standard email protocol communication solely to answer your creative or business enquiry.
Edge infrastructure & connection telemetry
When you request a page from this website, our hosting and CDN edge nodes process technical connection data strictly required to deliver and secure the site.
This technical connection data may include your truncated IP address, browser user agent, referrer URL, requested URI, timestamp, and HTTP status code. These logs are processed under our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) for:
- Preventing distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks and brute-force intrusion.
- Diagnosing edge routing failures and server availability bottlenecks.
- Enforcing TLS 1.3 cryptographic transport security.
Connection logs are automatically purged or rotated on short retention schedules (typically within 30 days) and are never correlated with individual user profiles.
Zero ad tracking & no third-party pixels
We maintain a strict zero-ad-tracking stance on livlustudio.com:
| Technology | Status on LIVLU Studio | Policy Description |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | NOT DEPLOYED | No tracking tags, cross-domain measurement, or Google Signals. |
| Meta / Facebook Pixel | NOT DEPLOYED | No event beacons, conversion retargeting, or advertising pixels. |
| Session Heatmaps (e.g. Hotjar) | NOT DEPLOYED | No keystroke recording, scroll-depth tracking, or session replay scripts. |
| Advertising Networks | NOT DEPLOYED | No programmatic ad scripts, bidding exchanges, or affiliate trackers. |

Products, mobile applications & Lab
LIVLU Studio engineers independent software products including ForroVivo, Conta, and Near Glasses.
Each production application operates with its own sandboxed architecture, device permission model (e.g. camera, local storage, or audio access), and statutory privacy notice. We encourage users to inspect the specific privacy documentation provided inside each mobile app, App Store listing, or product portal before enabling synchronized cloud features.
Lab experiments and AI research prototypes showcased on this website do not harvest visitor biometric data or train public models on your browsing behavior.
Your statutory rights under UK GDPR
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, you possess defined statutory rights regarding any personal data we hold:
- Right of access (Art. 15): You have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16): You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete details.

- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): You may request that we temporarily halt processing while a dispute or accuracy check is resolved.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20): You may request your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Security safeguards & data retention
We implement industry-grade technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk. All web communication is encrypted in transit using modern TLS 1.3 cryptographic suites with strict HSTS policies.
Client correspondence conducted via email is retained solely for the duration necessary to service the enquiry, deliver commissioned creative works, or satisfy UK statutory tax, accounting, and corporate record obligations (typically 6 years under HMRC guidelines for commercial invoices and contracts).
